This reminds me of Brandon Lee's death. Ledger was farther along in his career than Lee was, but they both were so young that it's very sad indeed. Also, Ledger's upcoming film release is a somewhat dark, brooding film in which he plays a larger-than-life character.

So sad. He was definitely one of the good looking guys in Hollywood who I had a secret crush on for a while... I was so shocked today.

I didn't know the guy, nor have I seen any of his movies (I believe).

I don't know if it was accidental, natural, overdose or suicide. But he is dead, he was 28, and he left a 2 year old without a father... how sad.

My jaw dropped when I heard the news last night. How devastatingly heart-breaking.

You put together a beautiful tribute. I watched every single second of all of the videos -- and if it weren't for my 2 kids running around, distracting me, I would've been bawling my eyes out.

So, so sad and shocking. Heath Ledger was such a good looking guy, and a good actor, too. Loved him in A Knights Tale and he did a great job in Brokeback Mountain. I was surprised to learn that he married his leading lady in that film, and that they have a child. So sad.
